Supporting youth with disabilities
As a caregiver, you know the needs and goals of the youth with disabilities in your life. You’re doing great work, and we’ve developed tools and resources to help.
CanWork BC youth tool
The CanWork BC youth tool is an online self-paced platform designed for youth with disabilities aged 15 to 30 to explore on their own or with support. It’s an engaging, interactive learning experience across five key areas called dimensions. The tool is designed to be flexible, accessible, and self-paced, helping youth develop practical skills, discover their strengths, and support their personal growth.
Once enrolled, youth can access all five dimensions of the course. They will receive an email with their login details, and from there, they can start anywhere they like and complete as much as they want, at their own pace. Learners can revisit topics to deepen their understanding and reflect on their growth.
